Hello and Happy New Year to everyone!
This year I am trying to be more creative, running a business means a shed-load of paperwork and excel spreadsheets for company a lot of the time, and this year i really want to try and draw more, just for the sake of drawing, which is what I fell in love with in the first place!
Yesterday was my first little creative day, and I turned my drawings into a desktop wallpaper for myself, so I thought I would share it with everyone too! I'm going to try and do this every month...but please don't hold me to that!
To download click either 'Download for Desktop' or 'Download for Phone' and set as your background!
These last few months I've been enjoying Wild Life Drawing classes at the Proud Archivistin Islington. Such an amazing opportunity to see and draw different types of animals up close!
Classes coming up include Ferrets and Polecats and Reptiles. Check outhttp://www.wildlifedrawing.co.uk/ for more info and to book your place.
Follow me on instagram @jenniferej for drawing related updates!
This year my Pigs in Blankets card has had a bit of a makeover - and is now available with foiled silver text! I'm so happy with how they've turned out, so I hope you like them too!
Recently I've been working hard on launching my new card designs to you for the second half of the year. I've created loads of new designs and a whole new collection of my work entitled Miniatures! The miniatures collection features each of the animal drawings I've done over the years, and are available blank or customised.
I've also had the pleasure of having my photography redone by the incredibly talented Holly Booth Photography . Holly has worked wonders and understood what I wanted from day one. Thanks Holly!
Did you know I offer a custom card making service!? If you would like any of my cards customised or personalised in any way, just drop me an email detailing what you would like, or you can go through my Etsy shop's custom request service. Here are some of the lovely custom designs I've done recently...
My collaboration with Duck & Duffel recently received a little bit of press interest in Sew Magazine! Debbie at Duck & Duffel has used my best-selling 'You're my lobster' design to create an adorbale dress, silk scarf and an amazing clasp bag! You can also buy the fabric yourself direct from Duck & Duffel, if you're in the mood for making your own lobster creation!
